Skaga Celebrates Its 75th Anniversary With A Vintage Inspired Sunglass Style

|

Skaga, 'Swedish by nature from 1948', celebrates its 75th anniversary by unveiling a limited-edition sunglass style in keeping with its distinctive ethos that combines Swedish minimalism with sustainability and technical innovation. The new sunglasses, paying homage to Scandinavian design tradition, are inspired by an iconic optical style launched in 1975 and created for Skaga by Sighsten Herrgård, one of Sweden’s most famous designers and trendsetters, who reached international fame for his boldness and unfailing sense of style. Confirming the brand's choice of lightweight, resistant, and environment-conscious state-of-the-art materials, the construction is expertly crafted in aluminum alloy, beta-titanium, and responsible acetate, while the lenses are in Eastman Tritan™ Renew, a material that uses 50% recycled polyester derived from waste plastics in the manufacturing process.

The Sighsten sunglasses are presented in elegant, timeless Black or Blue coloration of the front and temple tips.
